Another try -- Pinion Nut 200 1983

Does anyone know the size socket needed to remove the pinion nut on the front of the differential on an 83 245? Puhhlease? I should have measured it while I had the driveshaft disconnected but I didn't have my primary toolbox. I'd sure like to know so I don't have to disconnect and reconnect the shaft just to measure.

I pretty sure its 26mm. Tried a 1"(25.4mm) and it was to small. A 1 1/16(27mm)was a little to big.

Thanks! I only had 1" and a 1 1/8 so I probably would have been out of luck.
