Just want to say that. Thank you everyone for your help. My car is running so well. Sometimes, the idle is so smooth, I have caught myself wondering if it stopped running! 142,000 and counting.

Wow, I'm impressed you can't even tell the car is on at idle. I've wondered that in some hondas and newer cars, but never a 240. With the K cam in there though, you surely can't miss the idle....anyways, keep on brickin!

Yes, the 780 with the VX has a silk idle, as does my '91 245 with the K cam. So, if everything is as it should be, idles for the red engine and stock cams are fine.

It's a 'Love Fest'...and yes, The Board is a fabulous resource.

(though I've begun to notice a bit of valve clatter at idle and accelleration in the '93)
