HI--Anyone in Portland, Oregon know someone who can rebuild a pair of SU carbs and linkage on my 68 142S? My regular mechanic and some other shops I've spoken to won't do it. Any ideas?

    If they leak at the throttle shaft then by all means send em out to either sucarb dude Rhys or Z-therapy.
    If the throttle shafts do not leak then you can do it yerself easily for not too much. Burlen Fuel Systems has the rebuild kits and don't forget to order new needles too (esp. if you are running biased needles).

    Z Therapy is somewhere around here... Kinda close anyway. Kinda spendy too, but a good job so i hear... And then there's Rhys =D I got some rebuilt(and slightly modified) by him and am very pleased...(sucarburators.com) Hope this helps!
