I suggest that all Volvo owners go to the forums summary and look at the V8 section and read the articles concerning Bad experiences with Volvowerks in San Jose, Ca. It might just save you a lot of grief--too late for me.

    I'm really baffled by that outfit, as the deals they advertise are just plain impossible. It's not like they can restore cars at a substantial loss and make it up elsewhere.

    Has anyone confirmed that the San Jose address exists, and that there's a shop of some sort there, and that the people in it are the ones advertising on eBay?

        The Bureau of Auto Repairs regulates all auto repair facilities in California, and has the ability to fine/ shut down unscrupulous shops who don't follow the regulations of their profession. The BAR can also assist in getting your $$ back. Worked for me!
