I got a great deal on a din in-dash Clarion CD/MP3 player. I'm going to bypass the factory amp, but I need the install kit to have it fit in the dash. I guess that it's called the volvo 'multi' kit. Basically it's the trim piece for the radio on the dash, and it holds the unit into the dash.

Not just Best Buy, but anyplace that installs radios will be able to order you the part. The first picture here is of my aftermarket radio with the storage compartment underneath (with the lighter) removed (it was removed to take a picture of the relays behind it, the compartment is normally there).

I think I paid ~ $15 for the kit, and maybe $12 or $15 for the harness, which is a two part harness for the '93 945. Both were "Metra" products, I just don't remember the numbers of them (I have a '93 945T).

Before you buy the harness, go to Crutchfield, add any 1-din radio to your basket and go to checkout. The correct harness (and kit) will appear in your basket. Take a look at the pictures for the harness and make sure what you pick up looks like that. It's a two piece harness, one to connect behind the radio, and the other to connect near the amp. Speaking of which, you'll need some wire extenders to get the signal from the harness now by the amp (which are your speaker wires) to the radio. Maybe four 2' or so wires.

I got mine at best buy as weel. They also had a wiring harness kit that clicked into the factory harness and had labeled leads to connect to the harness that comes with the radio. It made the install real easy.
