    air box 700

What I wanted to post was: 1989 780 Turbo, how do I get the air box out? Also, to stretch gas mileage I've been coasting downhills in neutral for up to half a mile, is this alright?

On us spec turbos, the airbox comes out with one bolt...closer to radiator than engine, same side. You have to remove the top of the airbox (has the AMM on it) and the intercooler hose to the compressor. Take out the filter too. The box has an air horn that sticks into the inner fender/engine wall so you have to kind of rock it out.
