Just picked up a 90 760 wagon, 209k++ 700

Looks like it came from Ca. in 02, 192k at that time. Used engine installed the. I also have an 88 760 wagon. Turbo is not as strong, trans may slip from a full stop some. Speedo not working. will look here for info on that. Front end had some work don3e bodywise judging from the alignment around the hood. #rd seat also, interior is fine, better that the 88. $1500 from a dealer. Sound ok?

Since the most likely cause of engine replacement is overheating, be sure that they replaced the heater control valve. This part is responsible for a LOT of repeat overheating problems.

Otherwise sounds just fine.
