190 70R-14 snows on a 940???? 900 1995

I must admit, I am not the best at tire terminology or knowing what tire will and will not work. But... I have a set of the previously mentioned snows that were for my 240. They have one season on them. Can I safely use these snows on my '95 944??

thanks,

Matt

You aren't going to get a set of 14" on that 940. Rims won't fit over the brake calipers, ann on a '95b I think the bolt pattern may be different too.

With one season on them , you should be able to get a few bucks for them to offset the price of a new set

Same bolt pattern (5x108), but yeah, 14" won't clear the front calipers.

But will they fit over the rear calipers?? The knowledge is out there that even 15" Virgos won't fit on the fronts of the later 940's with ABS, but would 14" 240 rims fit the rear?
