700 Power Steering and Alt setup in a 240 w B23?? Anyone? 200

Considering this set up for the new brick, anyone seen this done this?
Thoughts?

700 Power Steering and Alt setup in a 240 w B23?? Anyone? 200

I have seen it done on a 244T with B21FT. Very nice conversion. The person used the later AC compressor. I think you want to salvage the alternator and AC bracket from an 85-93 240 with B230. Don't worry if you don't use AC; the bracket is alloy and won't cost much in weight. You may also have to salvage some 740 B230F parts like the P/S. You may or may not need custom AC and PS hoses. You may be able to salvage them. If you need new ones, really good auto parts shops with machine shops attached can often make new AC and PS hoses with whatever lengths and fittings you need for much less than Volvo charges.

I think the distributer would be in the way. Not a problem on the 700s because its on the back of the camshaft.
