i have a brand new "d" grind and "c" grind.i ended up getting the ipd street performance cam. i will be getting acustom cam ground sometime int eh future for my turbo setup. i also have one other used cam, but is isn't smart to use a used cam.

I'm running an IPD street grind cam in a B20 with SUs. Performance is just fine. I'm very satisfied.

Lot's of places to get them, and lot's of choices for what to get. You don't want to put a used one in; that would be a disaster. IPD, RPR, and other vendors supporting the board all have cams available. Look through the archives for detailed discussions of what cam works best under what circumstances.

For a stock B20 a Volvo 'D' grind cam is very nice. It was the stock cam for the B20E. Get it new, get a new set of lifters, and replace the fiber timing gear as well. If the steel timing gear has any visible wear at all replace it too, although it seems like they can wear through several fiber gears without needing to be repolaced.
