Another thing:

I have an original overdrive contact + the control-lamp for dashboard, for sale. I'll sell them togehter. I have just had a few thoughts: Here in Denmark and Sweden these are very rare and will easily sell at arround eq. US $130.
Is anyone in here interested before I list it on ebay?

I actually have the plead to give you some kind of "you're right!"

Some post's ago, I actually asked everybody in here exactly that, if it would be ok to offer some special items, BEFORE they end up on ebay.

As you can see, I offer an original overdrive-swich, which has NOT yet been listed on ebay - why? Because I have a true concern in my business: That parts have the most value, when working/installed in a happy drivers car!
Does it sound sacred? - Well, that's entirely up to you! I run a small business with classic Volvo parts - because of my own hobby thru many, many years and because I really enjoy to help out being able to wave at other Volvo's on the road!
If you think the items are crap - I'm sure you don't know what you are talking about.
Some items are very rare - and I'm not just having a car-junkyard besides where I live - so instead of making a very rare item end up on somebody's "collector-shelf" - I would much more have satisfaction in knowing that that part is now running on a happy Amazon - doing it's job!

Well, actually all this was more an answer for the rest of you! I don't give much for hiding peoples critisism.

Hopefully others think that my thread was nice and not a "clutter". Cluttering to me is when you at high speed thru city, throw you trash out the window...

Crap????

By crap I mean the message, I'm sure his products are fine.

We shouldn't allow these types of messages on the main boards when there is a classified section. If we allow Soren, then we need to allow any yahoo that is parting out their volvo to post a message for every nut and bolt they put on ebay.

Also Soren has other ads for products in other messages, sure one or two are fine, but there are 3 for this month in the 120 section alone, when does it stop? There are other volvo companies (competitors) that pay for advertisement on this site. If we allow him and others to post their ads for free, we could lose the paying folks and the board could lose its financing and then go away. Then everyone loses.

If Soren or anybody wants to advertise, create a web page and pay for a banner at the top that will link to it. Please don't clutter up the boards.

I don't know where things went wrong for you Timmy!!
But maybe you should take your time and read my threads before you take it for granted that your own idea is correct!

I have NOT posted 3 add's this month - And I'll bet that you haven't even taken your time to read WHAT I'm writing in the post "CD's on Ebay" for instance!

But I do also respect your oppinion! Mind that!

But what REALLY is cluttering is this kind of time-waste.

Timmy, Soren had the decency and class to ask first, in previous post, before listing some of his items on this forum. An overwhelming majority of the responses said it was alright to do so. Sorry to read that you refer to these nice old items as "crap"
