Trying to replace the grease in S90-V90

differential again, took it into the dealer this time, said that it was a sealed unit. No drain plug, showed me the book with the gears pictured in the book and the numbers matched, no drain plug. They are going to hook up a vacume pump and remove what they can by going through the fill plug and then replace the fluid that way. Also saw that I have a limited slip gear, does this mean that there is a special fluid that goes in as well?
Hope this helps someone that has been trying to do this as well.
They removed the bottom bolt as well as the fill plug and even tried poking around the bottom bolt hole with a bent peice of wire to no avail.
Thats all for now

Trying to replace the grease in S90-V90

Well that was all for not, the old grease is still in the car and Volvo guys are saying that the fill plug is restricted by the ring gear and they can't vacume the old grease out from that point. I suggested they try going through the sensor on the back of the housing, said they tried that too.
I guess that I'm going to have to live with the fact that it can't be drained unless there is a total tear down.
Any ideas out there anyone?

Without any personal experience with this problem, I'm still going to have to go with "your dealership is retarded."

If the differential is designed this way without a drain, thats retarded. I'll keep trying to find a way of course thats what it's about, trying to keep em running the best we can. Would it be possible to pull an axle and pull the grease from that point, from the side, gots me.
