Last summer my son and I delivered another family's Audi A4 (along with their dog) to their new residence in Miami,Fl. The Audi was a 200hp V6 with standard transmission. Son loved the standard trans. He has now graduated from college and has job so would like to buy an '88 or newer Volvo turbo or 960 with a stick. What years and models will he be able to find this combo in the US? He hasn't ruled out 850's and S70's although he'd rather stick with the rwd. Thanks for the help.

You can check out which model years had what at the link below. The last 740 series with a manual tranny was 1991 in the turbo. They are rare, as podted already. The 240 series had a manual up to its last year (1993). Other than that, your are in to FWD.

The only RWD possibility is the 740T, old style 88-89 or updated '90 with M46. Pretty rare, don't hold your breath. Or say, convert a nice 780 to M46.
