The ones that really know this business are KGTrimning in Sweden.
The Euro exchange rate may unfavorably impact the price.
Where did you get your manifold?
Ever think of changing to SU HIF6 carbs?
Eager to hear from you!

I got the triple carb manifold for $100 from a guy that calls himself "Dan the Volvo man", i think that was a good price, don't you.
what i'd really like to do, is find: (3) side draft to weber down draft adapters, so I could have triple weber down draft carbs.

There are Volvo Penta manifolds for the B30 (or whatever they called it in marine trim) that take three downdraft Solexes. Very likely you could easily adapt these to Webers.

But why deliberately use downdraft carbs on an inline engine, if performance is the object? Why not three Weber sidedrafts?

I agree 100%, why go around a corner when straight is the shortest way to get there. If performance is the object, then fuel injection, with six throttle bodies would be pretty nice. Lots of DIY EFI on the market these days.

In addition to other rare (at least I've never seen them anywhere else) items for the B30 like big-bore head gaskets, performance cams, and headers they also sell triple DCOE manifolds.

If you do all the tweaks you can do to a B20 you should be able to make a very stout motor. I think the exhaust ports are better on the B30 heads, too.
