What's it all worth...('70 142) 140-160 1970

I have a 70 142 project car that I was going to make into a sreet/autocrosser/drager... but just dont have the time or money right now to give it the attention it needs, so I am considering selling it. It's a 70 142 that is very straight and only has rust in the spare tire wells like they all do. I have painted the engine bay and interior already. I put a running B18/w HS6's and an M40 in it so it runs. The car is complete except the back seat which I removed and built a rear shelf out of. I know the car it's self is not worth much but it's the spares I don't know about. I also have a complete B20B, a B20F, and extra B20 block. Also have another M40 trans, complete spare glass except windshield, complete front crossmember with all the steering gear from a 68 142, complete rearend from a 68 142, I sectioned both rear side panels from the 68 because someone did a crappy repair on the pass. side of my 70 and I was going to section the bad body work and use the 68 side piece. I also have a complete set of HS6's and a complete 32/36 weber DGEV. Pretty much anything that was good off of the 68 I took off before cutting it up so I have 2 of everything...grills, glass, bumpers (straight!)...panels, fenders, lenses... U name it I have it. Oh also I have a set of seats out of a mustang that were welded to the factory seat mounts that were in the 68 I was going to put in the 70. Like I said the car isn't work much maybe 400-500 but does anyone have any idea what all the spares are worth if I was to try to sell them? I am kind of new to the Volvo thing and don't really know the Volvo market so any help would be appriciatd...

P.S. I also have a Moto Lita steering wheel and hub adapter that came off the 68. I have heard that is worth some money but no one really knows for sure...

I'll give you a call later tonight or tomorrow, 140-160 1970

I'm in portland currently so i'll be able to swing by. I may be interested in the car, i may be not... I might want it if it's better than my current DD, which is/was going to turn into the autoxer and dragger that you're describing. If I keep my car, i may be interested in the steering gear and other misc. stuff, including the steering wheel, the mustang seat setup and other stuff. But i don't really have money, so we'll see what we come up with...
Peace,
Kyle

The simple answer is "it's worth what it's worth."

Not helpful, eh?

What I mean is, we can postulate about what a bit is worth, sight unseen, forever and never help you because it will be worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

We aren't buying so we aren't reliable.

Get an e-bay account and go for it. If you are willing to hold on to them for awhile, you can get more. If you want them all gone in one swell foop then listing them together will get them all gone faster but you won't get the highest price (as people tend to actually bid for the one item in a "lot" they really want instead of the value of it all).

Good luck,

Mike!

I'm looking for the metal panels that go in the dashboard from an early 140/164,
don't care if they are black or woodgrain since I am going to put new woodgrain
formica on them. I also need the right side grab handle that is bolted to
the dash. If you have a set of these to spare, maybe we can make a deal
on them. Drop me an e-mail
