Does anyone know of a good (and cheap) source for rebuild kits for the SU HIF6 carb? Mine seems to need a new needle and jet and my spare has a bent needle. Didn't notice anything on Groton, vlvworld.

Don't get the B21A version as it will only have enough parts for the ONE carb those engines came with!!

Burlen Fuel Systems is very good to order from and their stuff arrives promptly (which is a pleasant surprise, being in Nevada!).

Suspect "cheap" rebuild kits as they won't have the jet!

You need to order new needles from Burlen seperately (don't forget)!

Oops. Misread your message. Thought that you meant Burlen had a branch in Nevada. After some looking around, realised you are the one in Nevada. Anyhow, looks like Burlen is THE place.

I haven't dealt with Burlen or any SU supplier, although I'm sure I will eventually :| as time marches.

Let us know if you pursue anything there. Are you going to have the brick off the road?

Carbs are easy to remove and install. I also have a spare SU missing a needle. Figure I'll fix that. So I don't expect to have the car off the road.
