Is Sea Form Good for our Volvo's? S90-V90 1986

i use sea foam in my volvo and it's done a lot of good. before i bought the product, I've asked different specialist about the product, especially the guys at napa and everyone has told me nothing but good things about it. i add it to my gas tank before i fill er up with 88 octane, and run the entire tank allmost dry before refueling. it works on contact and eats away at deposits and gum on contact. still will work even with engine off. they have a spray that you can put into your intake that cleans that and other ports as well. I would be a bit leary on pouring it into your engine oil, they claim that you can do this, but I'd shy away from that idea. I run mobile 1 10w-30 full sysnthetic in my engine, and it keeps the engine clean and improves my gas milage. good product, but do it about every oil change and you should be good.

as a decarbon agent in the fuel tank, it works rather well. I use a bottle of sea foam on one tank of fuel, then techron on the next.

Techron is better @ cleaning injectors and sea foam is better @ cleaning valves.

It can even be used as an induction cleaner (I remove the first small vac line behind the throttle body that I can get to, put a long piece of vac line in it's place and run into a cup filled with Sea Foam. Then I just have my wife keep the car running as I let it vac up the fluid. When I've run about half a cup through, I intentionally stall the engine with the remaining....... come back in an hour, start car and done.

I haven't dismantled an engine from either product in the fuel, but I have pulled a few intakes and a couple heads after the induction clean. It's a very clear visual difference.

Be Careful. Look what it did to Southeast Asia.
