Core Support 200 1988

I need to replace the core support in my DL thinks to the dingbat that backed in to me in the parking lot. I was looking at how to remove it and notice some spot wields under the blinkers, is the a way I get it lose without drilling and are there any more weilds holding it in. Is there a way I can get it off without removeing some of AC parts and speaking of the AC, what is the 2 green wires that come though behinde the drivers side headlight?

Thanks,
A.J

Merry Christmas and thanks to the dingbat...

You will need to drill out those spot welds and weld them back in or use a little JB Weld. You'll have to haul off pretty much everything (headlights, turn signals, etc...) to make it easy.

You should be able to get it all off without disturbing the A/C condensor. The 2 green wires go over to the micro switch on the receiver/dryer.

thanks for the infor. I plan on get the parts I need Sunday at the pick n pull, the dingbat give me $50 for the parts. I taped the wires off to the side. The A/C never worked when I got the car. So the wires gose from the drivers side to the passanger side to the receiver/dryer.

Thanks,
A.J
