draco rims and durability, How well do they hold up? 200

Here is the deal, I came across 2 cars in junkyard, between them they had 5 draco rims... I figured they looked nice so I would pull them. figured I would at least get 4 nice ones out of the batch. There was only 1 perfect one, the others have varying degrees of flat spots.
My question, Is this typical? Are these that easy to bend? the virgos I have seen are in better shape. Am I just too picky? (in a couple the flat was barely visible, less than 1/8 inch) Is this ok? should I go for it? Are they repairable? (I left them pulled beside a car, price is $10 each and tires are shot.
thanks in advance

Ditto what the others say. Every one I've seen lately is square. And that's not an attribute for a round wheel!

They are a very easy wheel to bend and the bends are often in the backside of the rim. They can be straightened by wheel shops, but then you're into more money. Find the best ones and see how they balance.

And if you repaint them, spray clear over it, it'll do wonders for the appearance.

Typical. Like the Virgo rims, they are amongst the softest.

A minor bend or two won't kill ... it's bad if it wobbles side-to-side, though. As it is, all my Virgo rims have at least one bend in 'em. Two of the tires (Kumho KH-11's) did not require any weights at all to balance, one took 1/4, the other took 1/2.

At $10, that's cheap. Here in SoCal, aluminum rims run $25-$35/ea. at the self-serve places, significantly more at full service. Just do a quick check that they're not wobbling side-to-side and get 'em. A quick dousing of spray paint can do wonders on bad finishes.

Not surprising. They often look better than Virgos, but when you spin them they wobble. I think about 1/3 of them are good. I try to spin them at the yard and I still get burned often. The good news they are only $15 at the yard and aluminum scrap price is high.
