Just when it gets the coldest 18 for a hiugh today and the car is covered in ice the blower decideds not to work. If I need to replaceit has anyone found one that will work or will I have to get a volvo replacement? 87 740 turbo sedan 204k

Common issue with 700 heater motors is that some water can get down into the base of the motor(brushes) from condensation and then on the coldest day freezes solid and seizes the motor. Pull the motor bring it inside and let is warm up. Blow out the base through the drain tube and try putting 12 V to motor

Late 80's chevy Suburban and I think Chevy Caprice. Take the motor with you to match up to be safe.The second last one I got was a Siemens white box made in Mexico.Your original one is an AC delco made in USA.I own an 87 740 GLE and truthfully nothing beats the AC delco, it's heavy duty.You don't have to buy this from because you'll really pay.
