Bought a used 97 960 and it came with the Premium Sound and CD player, it has the Winter option and has a trunk mat. What if any other options were offered on the 97-98 960 S90 cars that isn't listed. Volvo's old web site had an option to search the data base for info like this. But since they revamped the site that option is no longer available. That is the reason for my question.
One thing about Volvo is a lot of these dealer installed options are still available but if you don't know about them it is hard to track down what is and what wasn't offered at the time. I went through the Owners manual and I do have every option that is mentioned in the booklet. But like the trunk mat / tray it isn't mentioned in the owner manual. Thanks Al

My 97 965 came with three "accessories" that the original owner had installed: a walnut gearshift knob, the privacy curtain over the "way back" area that pulls out like an old time window shade to hide the contents and the third seat.

i didn't look at tjts1's site,but i think the 960 is pretty much FULLY optioned.top of the line in it's time.same with the GLT's i owned.

I think you'll find most, if not all, the accesories provide some convenience and safety advantage, but little more. My V90 didn't come with mud flaps, so I put them on. Same with the all weather floor trays. Except for a CD changer. that's about as far as you can go. You're lucky to have the winter option. That should include heated seats and a LSD for better winter traction. Either of these are not one's you'd want to add.

Yeah, I'd say that mud guards/flaps and floor trays are the #1 'dealer installed' options to get for a Volvo that doesn't have them. I guess the trunk tray would follow after that....
