Am trying to upgrade from the one piece rotor/hub on my original 86 nonTurbo 740. I have also scored the strut tube/hub axle assembly from a 90 740. I have ordered rebuilt Girling calipers and have scored the brackets from an 89 ABS 740 with Girling calipers.Now according to the FAQ section, I need the ll.25" rotors. I have found a great deal but the person doesn't know if they are rotors that fit a 2 piece hub/rotor combination or not. From looking at FCP groton's list of available rotors, one-piece are only available in 10.25" and the 11.25" are all listed for 2 piece axle/rotor.
Has anyone seen 11.25" one piece rotors? I don't think they exist, but just wanna be sure.

I want to upgrade the brakes on my '84 760 Turbo. Please let me know how the conversion works out on your car. Could you give me a run through of all of the parts that you collected for the conversion?

We first upgraded my son's 1984 760T to the Big Brakes (11.25" rotors). About a year ago we converted it to Jumbo brakes. The Big Brakes give the same braking action as the Jumbo brakes. See the 700/900 FAQ for complete information. You'll probably need to get the separate hubs. If you need any parts, let me know.

I have never seen an integral hub and rotor which measured 11.25 inches in diameter. However, the very early 760s had a weird one piece solid hub and non-ventilated rotor about 11 inches in diameter.

You should be fine buying regular 11.25 inch diameter rotors.

I just ordered them...I have also bought on eBay a set of ABS girling calipers. I will use the brackets from these for my regular Girling calipers with the #508 pads. Using the strut tubes/hubs from a 90 740 to replace the one piece on my 86 should allow me to use the 11.25" Big rotors.
I hope I got things correct.
I am going to paint all these new brake compoments a bright RED before installation. YEEEHAAA!!
