760 parts / body shop in Columbus Ohio region? 700 1990

Hoping that someone on the board may be able to recommend a good Volvo good smash repairer in the area and somewhere in the area where I might be able to buy a replacement hood from a wreck?

This tale is a bit of a sob story: my 760 Turbo is parked at my girlfriend's place and I am overseas, and will be for a while. She's been taking care of it for me as best she can, however, at some point while she was ill, some dweeb came along and drilled a hole right in the center of the hood. I had the thought it may be cheaper to replace the hood from a wreck rather than have the hole filled and the hood repainted, metallic paint generally being quite hard to color match.

Hoping someone out there may have some recomendations?

TIA.

    Hello,

The hood on the 1988 to 1990 760 is a very hard one to find. The hood is aluminum and is roughly $950-$1000 new (unpainted). The hood is different on these cars, due to the rounded front edge and the lack of a metal cowl (the hood runs right into the windshield, as you may have noticed). Anyway, I needed one for my 1988 760 Turbo a few years back. I called EVERYWHERE, including strictly Volvo salvage yards (one in Georgia claimed to have over 75,000 700/900 series parts in stock; even they had none and quoted $400 for a used one if they had it). If it were me, I would repair it if not too badly damaged.

Another hood for that car may be very hard to find and very expensive...

Should be an easy fix, since I believe earlier 740/760 hoods are the same size.
I went junking last fall and saw a couple of 740/760's at Dayton-Xenia Auto Parts, Xenia, Ohio - they alway have a good supply of older Volvos. Hoods were all excellent. Probably less than $100...
