lambo doors 200

Has anyone done a lambo door conversion on a two door 240 series and if so where did you find it and how did it go?

lambo doors 200

I have a cousin in Miami, FL with WAY too money to burn, spent $3000 per door to "trick out" his 2002 Monte Carlo SS with lambo doors; he bumps his head often entering or exiting the car. The doors are just to exotic for every day use.

I wonder how those "54" Merc 300 SL/ Deloran Gullwing doors would look?

IMHO....I think he bump his head long before the doors where ever installed.

Although I like that (except for the color) I agree with Maya10 I don't like the fact that the passenger door is all wonky, as well, unlike other people on the site, I would to see a scissor door Volvo which given some time I am goin to try.

Excellent picture but.....the artist didn't make the passenger door correct it's too short, it's missing a passenger window. The driver's side looks great.

Awesome concept car, it's way cooler then scissors doors.

Erling,
What an amazing car!! So....What are the WHO, WHERE, WHEN, WHY's

Who did the modifications a pro shop or DIYer?
Where is the car, in the USA?
When was this done?
Why was in done and at what cost?
What is year is the car?

I have never seen this car anywhere....no website, no VCOA photo shoot, nowhere. He needs to put his story in VCOA pages, it would be a great read.

BTW: The is just a little better then yours!!

Hello,

The door hinges to do that are universal and can be purchased at any decent ricer shop. That in mind, 2 points.

1) They are designed to support doors far less heavy than that on a 242 ie. one found on a 10 year old Civic.

2) WHOOOPS!!! Are we suggesting a ricer option for a Volvo??? No offence, but that's a sacriledge.

Suicide door! 200

I'd love to see suicide doors on the rear doors of a wagon or 4-door!

Keep dreaming/modding!
