122 Wagon Springs/Shocks 120-130 1967

What options do I have for a saggy rear-end? (...my car's...I'm already working on fixing mine...)

Is IPD the sole provider?

Has anyone experimented with other makes/models springs? Air-Shocks? Spacer blocks?

I don't carry a bunch of cargo, just a bunch of ski gear and a wet dog...

Is it possible/feasible to lower the whole car?

Thanks all!

I've used the IPD overload coils on my 745 and 145 and have been very pleased with their performance. Will likely purchase a pair for my 122 this summer.

I did try a local spring dealer for the coils on the 745 prior to purchasing the IPD units because they were about $30 cheaper. I returned the local units, they would not hold the car level when loaded. IPD's are excellent and a decent value in my opinion. Too bad shipping to the east coast is costly, but that's not their fault.

Your post is a little confusing, are you looking for overload coils or lowering coils?

Thanks for all the responses. I have an email in to the folks at v-performance.

I am looking at what all my options are: overload, lowered, progressive, etc. I'm new to the station wagon crowd so am unsure what implications each option would have. Performance/handling aren't necessarily what I'm going for (it's a station wagon anyway, and I have my MGB for the twisty roads!).

I think the 122 wagon is probably one of the best styled wagon I have ever seen. My only issue is it rides so damn high, but if that's the way it needs to be, so be it. At the moment the rear end sits so low that it looks like I'm going up a slight incline all the time...

Thanks again for all the info.

We've been really happy with the overload/progressive rear springs in the wagon.
Makes hauling a 100lb dog and mt bike gear scrape free on every driveway and road dip. :)
