ECT - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor-where? 200 1988

My wife's 245 intermittent stalls on cold start and won't restart after running 10-15 seconds (when I put it in gear). I've been told it's most likely O2 sensor or ECT. I'm going to buy a Bosch 13913 O2 sensor($38) and put it in, also the ECT, but where is it and how much? Couln't find it in FCPGroton Thanks.

    ECT - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor-where? 200 1988

The ECT is located under the 3rd intake runner. If you remove the air bypass valve, you can free up enough space to get a 19mm deepwell socket with a universal swivel and long extension in there to pull it out. Check the 700-900 FAQs first for trouble shooting tips or your Haynes manual. About $50.00. Try www.autohausaz.com
