Is this bushing cracked? 900

Got this control arm with bushings from FCP. It looks cracked in one corner and not as stiff as the other one. See Pic

Thanks

John T.

Yes it is. Was it manufactured by scantech by any change?
Shoot them an email and send it back. They will take care of the problem quick.

Yes, it's SCANTECH. I thought it was, wanted to make sure.

      Thanks for the support!

What is the part number for the bushing? I actually work for the company that owns scantech and design or should I say spec out the parts that scantech makes or gets made. I would like to look into the problem and see if it can be fixed. Don't ask me for free parts or anything like that, I am not in that type of posistion. I will admit that there are good scantech parts and bad ones. I would like to be able to correct the bad ones.

FCPgroton is great but most of the Scantech stuff they sell is garbage. nm 900

You could ask FCP if they have control arms from another source, or they can get OE from Volvo for you (slight discount, I think).

I believe Scantech is not a manufacturer, but merely packages and brands parts from low-priced sources world-wide. As such, their quality has become increasingly suspect.

They may have been more selective in the past, but that's just a guess.

Gotta agree with others, FCP Groton guys are great, but those Scan Tech parts hve got to go; many wasted hours replacing "new" scantech parts that were "made in India" and of POOR quality.

I am being generous by even using the word "qaulity" in the same sentence as "ScanTech".
