    engine swap??? 140-160 1969

The 140 upper control arms are in the way of the V-8 exhaust manifolds. Far easier - actually a great fit - on the 240.

    Here's one in a 240 140-160 1969

http://www.warrensweb.com/volvo/drivetrain.htm Check this link out. I know the engine bays are vastly different but you can see the snugness. From what I've heard thhe 140 engine bay has a lot less room so basically you're gonna have to be doing a whole lot of cutting. As they say though with enough time and money nothing is impossible. I'd wager you'd need to modify the crossmember greatly and cut out as much metal as possible. Other than that good luck and take lots of nice photos =)
