Splices in wiring harness 700

Take a look at this photo! When I cut the wrap from the harness on the 88 760, I found that all of the ground wiring to the ECU and the ground for the Coolant temp Sensor were all spliced to one wire which attaches to the manifold and then were buried in the wiring harness uinder the manifold. This would be an impossible situation to trouble shoot. I am going to put the in a multiple lug ground block on the passenger side of the engine and ground the lug to the engine block. If you are having intermittent problems with the fuel side of the system, this is worth a look. It definitely is not a sound electrical practice.

Regards,

Will Dallas
