Is there anywhere I can get Volvo 1991 940 Turbo Fuel Injectors anywhere for less than $400? Right now they are $100 a pop, which is kind of high..

    When I suspected unbalanced injectors on our 83, I pulled 4 ($7 ea) from an 84 in the pick-n-pull junkyard and sent them to RCEngineering in Los Angeles. $24 each plus shipping and they came back looking like new, with new seals, pintle caps, and a comprehensive description of before-and-after performance.

    Unfortunately, the car (which was running OK), showed no real improvement in the way it ran or in fuel economy. So it's the old story of: "be sure you have a problem before you fix it".

    But I sure have nice injectors now.

    These folks may be able to help you, decent price on their injectors. Did not look for your specific application but they should be able to fix you up.
    If not,they will refurbish your injectors. Having them cleaned and flowed puts them into close to brand new condition, well worth the money spent.
    But if ya just have new ones, shop around some more. There are improved style injectors on the market. Injectors have gotten better in the past 13+ years.

    I have 220,000 on my 1991 940 and no problems. Changed seals about 20,000 ago. Do you know its an injector problem or do you just want to replace them?

      I have 207k on my 960, sent the injectors out to be refurbished and cleaned to Lender Technical Servises,24 bucks each and was pleased with what they did.
      Made them like new again.
