Hello all,

My LH rear door will not open. Obviously there is some linkage that is not connected.
My question is: How do I get the door panel off with the door closed? Or is there another way to get to the guts?

will it not open from the inside and outside both? a lot of times the outside handle breaks but it still opens from the inside....unless you have the child safety locks set...eww.. i was able to get the panel off from the inside of mine when it was literally stuck when i bought the car...just unscrew everything and take the lock knob off and pop the clips all the way around....it may be a little tight but it worked for me

Yes neither handle works.....Thanks, will have to get after it I guess.

My left rear door sometimes does not open either. Try pushing down on the lock and pulling back up. Then try the outside handle. That does it for mine. Not sure what is causing it. Too many other jobs higher on the list.
