E-code bad news..... 200 1982

Well, for everyone that hs been following my E-code decoding, I found out tonight they were added, not OE. Yes they are volvo lights, yes they woould have worked wonders in their original state, and yes they are e-codes. But when i took them out tonight, i found written on them "Volvo 240" in junkyard pen. Somebody must have got a SWEET find back in the day. I'm keeping them though, and i'll get them back up and running someday, if not on this car, on another. I'll post pics tomorrow of the GLT's new face, once i buy lights for those four empty holes up front.

Talk to y'all soon!!!

Not bad! I'm guessing you'll be getting more light output (at least with ECE lights) with a separate high and high/low beam than with the single large high/lows before.

Well, since they were E-codes, if they were working properly they would have been brighter, but in their present state, not so much! These are perfect for now, I just have to align them tonight, so I don't shine the road a foot in front of me!
