1995 volvo 940 factory sunroof gasket, ordering info and experience? 900 1995

My 95 940 factory sunroof has never leaked water, but it has been "whistling" lately as I go down the road...guess its time to change the gasket.

I know dealer wants around $100, but it was mentioned they are available for about $33 on the internet thru Europarts.com or something like that.

Can anyone tell me what their experience was with this gasket, and was it the gasket that fits around the perimeter of the glass, or was it the gasket that fits around the inside of the hole in the roof?

I got one for my 240 from FCP Groton for around $40.

My roof had a wind noise problem. Before ordering I suggest you check your sunroof alignment. And poke around inside too! Mine was slightly out of alignment due to a small damaged part inside. Buying the gasket was a waste of money for me....
