My 1986 745 turbo has the standard Volvo alloy wheels from the late 80's...5 spoke...kindof flat...satin finish. One of the wheels has kissed the curb one too many times and it causes a noticeable wobble at certain speeds. I'd like to save the wheel if possible. Has anyone had any luck with repairs? If repairs are futile, does anyone have a wheel (round) of this type to sell?

If you have any self-serve junkyards around you, try them first. Should run about $30 or so. Much cheaper than having it straightened, which runs around $100.

Otherwise, I have one around here. Can't say if it's perfect at the moment, but I have used it as a spare and I never had any issues. I have started to sand+smooth the scratches on the face for repainting. I'll check for straightness ... if it passes, say $40 + shipping from SoCal. It'll come primed - you finish the painting(*), as so you can repaint your other rims too.

* - My 245 wearing repainted Virgo's. The paint used was Rustoleum #7715 with 2 coats of clear on top. Another repainted Virgo, using Chrysler dary grey charcoal metallic for the spokes. Your choices are endless, really.

There's a couple of places in my area that do a really good job at straighting rims. Call around to tire shops in your area and see who they recommend, then have them look at the rim. I don't know of anyone with a 5 spoke rim for sale.
I've got 3 760 rims, one got destroyed along with the car by a towing company.
