I found someone how has a full Hella Light kit for a 940, the exact replacement for the kit that was installed on my car. Trouble is, he wants to sell the whole kit - harnesses, switches, lights, etc for around $190.00. He listed it on eBay for more than a week with a starting price of $189.99 and didn't get a single bid. He offered to split the kit and just sell me the foglights that I needed but he didn't think the wiring harness and switch kit would be worth much. He declined to offer me a selling price, and asked what my offer was. I offered $100.00 and he said no. I'm wondering if anyone knows what these lights run price-wise? They are a little unusual in that they are mounted under the bumper in a housing screwed to the bumper. The previosu owner of my 940 destroyed one of my lights (completely gone) and lost the lens off the other. I'd really like a 1-for-1 replacement but know of no sources for these foglights other than this guy who now wants to box them up and put them in storage due to my low-ball offer.

Any ideas?

Two suggestions:
1. Bosch foglight kits for some reason are less expensive than Hella. I switched from Hella to Bosch after a parking lot guy mashed one of the Hellas on my 240 and they perform just as well

2. I have a plain 940 (w/o factory fog lights) but it has the fog light switch and wiring/connectors up front for them - maybe you don't need to add a harness and relay to install fog lights on these cars.

Er... Yeah.. Mine already has full wiring harness and relay and switches, it's just that someone destroyed the lens on one and the other is gone - wiring is still there, just no light or housing. This 940 did not have the factory lights between the grill and headlamps, but the under-bumper installation *was* oem, at least at the dealer.

Trouble with switching is that the fogs are only held to the car by the fog housings screwed into the bumper, there's no mounting bracket or otherwise.
