Early 80's Canadian GLT's with the B23E.The car to look for in the salvage yards is similar to a turbo in the dash, but the 3-gauge cluster has the ambient temp gauge instead of the turbo gauge. The cam has a K on the rear visible when it is removed from the head.

Came in the B23E engine. Available in Canada '81 and '82. Available in Australia at the same time (had the H '79, '80 I think). May have been available in other markets at similar times.

Very common in Canadian junkyards.

All Volvo camshafts are marked very clearly with a letter on the firewall end of the cam.

For the redblocks M, L, and T are boring; A and B are bit better, VX better still, K and H the best. There are others.
