Can someone advise me as to the functions of an Aiwa CDC Z127 receiver/CD player and how to control them? It looks like this:



The picture above is actually an X227 but mine looks just like it, or very close.
I have only managed to figure out how to turn the power on and off, which is a no-brainer, mute the signal and search for a station. But I haven't even discovered how to adjust the volume. I can make the 'vol' at the bottom of the display flash off and on and that's about it. Does anyone have one of these units? What can you tell me about it?

This receiver is not working correctly. The 'audio control' which is used for a number of functions is useless. I'm taking it out and using a receiver that was in another 240 I had. The Aiwa unit just doesn't look right in this car anyway.

Perfect. Thanks. I had been to the Aiwa site looking for something like this but I quit when I didn't see this model with the current ones. Should have gone to the site map.

Just ask some kid under 10 yrs old to show you. Give em a few minutes and they will have it all figured out. They just know about these things.
