Are the german made Conti timing and or driving belts good quality or are TRW belts better in quality/longevity, please help!!!! 700

Greetings!

Does anyone know whether or not conti timing belts are of better quality and or last longer than the TRW belts! I had heard that conti belts were not too favorable? I mean can I exceeed well over the 50,000 mile limit for a timing belt change with it. My longest thus far with the volvo belt has been 130,000 miles! I am just trying to evade the dealers costs crunch and obtain a product of equal quality and or durability!

What say you, please all responses would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

With TRW you have no idea who made the belt. TRW is generally re-box like Beck Arnley or Scan tech. The Conti makes their belts and have consistant quality.

Volvo, TRW, and Conti are all good belts.

Both are good quality belts. Not positive but I think they both come with alignment lines on the belt to align the timing marks.
