Temperature Gauge Sender on 740 Turbo 700

My 740T has a broken temperature gauge sensor in the cylinder head under port two.

Any advice for easy removal without taking off the mainfold, only I don't want to shear it off in the head?

Do they come out resonably easy with a 19mm socket? or is it a real knuckle duster?

As I recall, the connector gets in the way and I had to use a stubby wrench to get it out. At least it's in front: the ECU temp sender is buried behind and is impossible to reach without removing the manifold.
