'95 960 EGR valve cleaning 900

I'd like to remove the EGR valve for cleaning; where is the EGR valve located on this particular car? I have a '95 960 that will periodically give a check engine code 241. The owner's manual also states that the EGR valve shoud be cleaned after 100,000 miles, and I'm a bit over that now.

The egr valve is located under the intake manifold near the rear of the engine.
