Hello I would need to know the length and diameter of the speedometer cable for a 73 1800ES with OD, but without the right angle gear. The sheath of the cable is fine I just require the "wire" in the center. I can have a local shop make one for me at unde $10, but I require the exact length.

For everyone's info the correct length tip to tip is 61 1/2". Now if I can only get the tach to work?

Remove the outer housing and take it to the shop that makes the inner cable.
They can do it from that. Or if you have both pieces of the old one they
can use that also.
