Need a new IAC for B234F-- will one from B230FT work? 900

Hey all.

91 940 GLE with B234F. Idling roughly, even started stalling out at stop lights etc.... I've removed and cleaned the IAC several times and it got better for a few thousand miles but after the third time i have just decided to go and replace it. The car has almost 200,000 so who cares-- it deserves it.

The local pick and pull junkyard has a 940 Turbo with 115,000 miles totalled out in a rear end collision. It's a newer one-- probably a 95 or so? Anyway, will the IAC off the B230FT work with my B234F?

the Volvo part number for your 1991 940 B234F is 1389618-8.

That number is also found in

740, 760, 780, 940 B230FT, 1990 and on,

740, 760, 780, 940, B230F, 1989 without Regina

240 B230F, 1989 and on

Surely the recycling yard will have one or two that will fit.
