242 performance upgrades 200

hey all, my 242 is in the shop as i write this getting a couple motor mounts replaced. the engine is the original b21f... but it doesn't offer much in the field of performance....just looking for some suggestions to give the car a little more hp / torque. ...something noticable....thanks ...also...the car doesn't really take turns well..hah.

    If you want to upgrade your suspension on the cheap then head for the wrecker. You may be able to find a car with aftermarket sways, or better yet a '79 GT which would have fatter bars, chassis braces, and strut tower reinforcing plates. Finding some Virgo(turbo) 15 inch alloy rims will also help.

    242 performance upgrades 200

    Check all your steering components and suspension bushings. These can make a huge difference in cornering and general handling. And, like the other poster said: struts, shocks, bars. Also, wheels and tires can help a lot with handling.
