Weber air filter cleaning 120-130

Quick question on 'cleanable' air filters for a Weber DGAV.
My size air filter assembly is not available any more (someone changed them from the DGAV orignal size) and I read that you can clean the filter with solvent and then re-oil it. But the filter has a rubber fitting which seems would be damaged by a solvent. What kind of cleaner has anyone used with good results?
Thanks

I can't believe a air filter for a weber would be NLA... Go to your local parts store with dimensions of the old one and see if they can find it in their K&N catalog. From there, if you don't want to spend the $ for K&N, they should be able to at least cross-reference to another brand...

That's what I'd do anyhow.

Sink full of water, dish soap, and a toothbrush. Let dry before re-oiling.
