heater valve vaccuum hose ? 700 1987

My 87 740 wagon had a broken heater valve last fall and I did a quick repair by replacing it with a straight 3/4" brass coupler - thought I just left the vaccuum hose hanging .... now I want to replace it with a good valve before the A/C season starts and can't find the vaccuum hose ---- can anyone tell me where the other end of this vaccuum hose attaches?? Much appreciated!!

It would have to come from the heater controls through the forewall somewhere. Perhaps someone else can tell exactly where.
