fuel injector cleaner 200

just wondering if running a bottle of injector cleaner through the fuel system is recommended for cleaning the injectors...i'm not sure if i want to get into cleaning them myself - i'm not the most technically inclined, and wonder if, for the average VO driver this is better than not doing anything.

Often a bottle of techron can work wonders on a car that hasn't had some sort of injector cleaning in a while.

I use it 2 or 3 times a year on my cars as part of my regular maintenance. Does a good job cleaning the fuel system. My Volvo has 253k and the injectors have never been out. Used it for 281k on my VW and never replaced an injector on that car either.

Get the Techron concentrate version which is $6 in this region. Some here have recommended changing your oil afterwards since some of the cleaners may end up in your oil. Just started doing that myself....
