Howdy brickers, so I am driving cross-country, LA to NY, and on the first day, I guess I was going to fast, 100mph to be exact, and my rear drivers side brakelight lens blew off! I always thought my reverse lights were the ones that were going to give first. So tomorrow morning I am going to Pep Boys and get red-tape to cover the light until I get to NY and know I can get a new lens/tailight fixture. But, my question is, are there any good pick-n-pulls or dismantlers along the I-40, between Flagstaff and Memphis that maybe could solve the issue now? Its the black trim modle. By the way, when travelling, if you know where you are going to be staying ahead of time , you can have parts shipped overnight from most parts places to a motel , or to a truckstop and pick them up there.( call the place recieving and let them know a package is comming for you )

There are two u pullits in Little Rock AR ( actually one is in Jacksnville just north of town )that have a few 240's can't remember what years though prices are good.
There is also a volvo specialty boneyard a few miles off the beaten path from conway, prices are regular salvage yard fare, selection is good.

HEY, if your going to be passing by louisville, KY, i don't know your route, but they have a few pickn' pulles in southern indiana with many 240. one is called marshall's 812-945-3519 the other is right next door, called kenny's 812-949-2880 both are a 2-5 min form the metro area, very easy to get to quickly...Hope this helps............
