front fender removal 200 1987

Is it possible to remove the front clip (front inner and outer fenders and radiator support) as one unit? I have an 87 245 parts car that I want to dismantle.

No. All parts are bolted to the unibody. The inner fender wells are actually part of the unibody, so they can't be removed. Those parts are pretty easy to remove separately.

Thanks for your reply, Jessie. I was looking for any possible shortcuts to dismantle the front end and make engine removal a little easier. I only have about 7'-0" between my garage floor and the ceiling joists; not much room to lift the engine clear.

"dismantle the front end and make engine removal a little easier."
Remove the radiator, grill, the crossbar that the hood latches to, etc. Then you can pull the engine up, forward and out.

With the help of a fellow brickboarder, an 8'-4"x4", and a couple of rachet straps, we walked a B23 out with the beam on our shoulders.
