Lower oil pressue after syntheic switch.

I car will iddle around 2 bars and hang out at 3 bars at all spees when warm. It was at 4 bars a start up. I'm running 10/30 AMS Oil. The car is a 1983 244 TI. I have liked this oil in my 1988 244 N/A, but the oil pressure guage is worrying me in the 83. Is this normal? I have checked the oil level and it is fine on the dip stick. Is this normal, or do I have a real disaster.

Higher presure when cold on dino oil is normal. Synthetic doesn't thicken up when cold like dino does. When warm the pressures should be pretty close although there usually will be a little difference one way or the other.
