Waht is the correct Vovlo part number for the IAC in a B23F 1984 240GLE? The one in my car is 0280 14 501 (011), but I need to know if that is indeed the corect one. I suspect it has been changed by a PO.

Volvo Part Number is 3517067-9, B21FT, B23F, B230F for 1984-1988 240, 740, 760, 940.

That number should correspond to the Bosch part number 0 280 140 520. Usually the number found on the part is the Bosch number.

World Pac says that it's good for 240 with B23 in 1983-84, B230F in 1985-4/1987

Also in 740 for B230Ft in 1985-4/1987, and 1992, 760 B230F for 5/1987-1989 and same for B230FT. Shows up on 780 and 940 with B230F and B230FT.

Your 0280 14 501 shows up for 760 and 780 B280F 1987-4/87, and B230FT 1985-4/1987. If it works, you may have a resellable item. Sounds like a rare bird for junkYard divers.
